I've been mainly concentrating on Mabel recently. Iolanthe and MadMargaret have both done all the quests there are (well, except a few they can't manage solo) so they've both just been doing a bit of archaeology and the new Darkmoon Faire stuff (actually I took all my characters to the Faire when it was in town, so they could do the profession quests. They also both did the new Christmas stuff, but still neither of them have got the title due to the PvP bit. *sigh*
Mabel's whizzing through Northrend quests. She's now level 82 and finished Zul'Drak last week - she's now partway through Sholazar Basin, which is much more pleasant. (She does still need to go back to Zul'Drak later to do the amphitheatre stuff so she can tick it off on the Loremaster list, but everything else there was fine. Oh, except the stupid quest where you sit on the giant's shoulders!)
Bit of a pause in that, though, because the Lunar Festival is here, and it looks as if I might finally be able to get the Elder title on both my mains. I tried last year, but there were a few Northrend dungeons that prevented it. But I was hopeful that an extra five levels might make all the difference, and so it's proved, at least with MadMargaret. She spent hours this weekend doing the Elders of Cataclysm (which was easy but time-consuming) and the Elders of the Dungeon (which took ages, and was particularly annoying because she'd already got most of them but the whole achievement had been reset). Utgarde Pinnacle was the main impossibility last time, but she got most of the way through the dungeon this time - the only bit she couldn't manage was King Ymiron, but the Elder was before him. She could have stealthed past lots of earlier bits but decided she may as well try for the dungeon achievement. I thought Skadi and his gauntlet was going to turn out to be a bit much, but it was just about OK.
After getting the last Elder - and the title \o/ - she tried to finish the Halls of Stone dungeon achievement, but Brann Bronzebeard proved to be tricksy, and kept dying. Oh well. Next task: try to get the title with Iolanthe as well. Should be fine - she's better-geared than MadMargaret, and I have much more experience playing her, and she can heal AND has treants... yet despite all this I've found that she often seems to struggle with boss fights that MadMargaret can do easily. Bizarre.
